Job summary

Oak View Group in Los Angeles is seeking a Banquet Bartender to provide beverage service at conventions, meetings, banquets, and special events. You will prepare and serve beer, wine, cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring guest safety and a smooth flow of service in a fast-paced environment.

This hourly role pays $25.00–$30.00 per hour and includes Part‑Time benefits (401(k) Savings Plan, 401(k) matching). Open through October 16, 2026.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience in hospitality or related sector.
• Knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and cocktail prep.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle cash and operate POS systems when required.
• Alcohol service certification required or able to obtain on hire.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and event-based hours.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages as per event specs.
• Deliver friendly, professional, and efficient service to guests.
• Set up and break down banquet bars, stock glassware and supplies.
• Verify guest age and monitor alcohol consumption per laws.
• Operate POS systems and process transactions when applicable.
• Maintain cleanliness of bar areas throughout events.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs.
• Work with banquet staff to ensure seamless event execution.
• Follow food safety and workplace safety standards.
• Assist with post-event cleanup and closing procedures.
