Job summary

Oak View Group is seeking a part-time Bartender to serve beverages, manage cash, and ensure guest satisfaction at events. The role requires reliability, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work varied hours in a fast-paced environment.

Pay is $5.00 per hour and tip eligible; benefits include 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching. Position open until November 13, 2026, with opportunities to work events as needed.

Qualifications

• Six months or more experience bartending.
• Accurate cash handling skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and long hours.
• Bartending school preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid alcohol compliance certification before working any scheduled events.
• Must have a food handler's certification.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellence in guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards.
• Follow the bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described.
• Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures for serving alcoholic drinks, including state/federal regulations.
• Learn or know various beer, wine varieties & spirits and upsell to guests.
• Pour drinks responsibly per serving size standards.
• Check IDs to verify legal age for alcohol.
• Communicate a cut-off to guests as required.
• Respond to customer requests or concerns.
• De-escalate intoxicated guest situations; involve management or security if needed.
• Contact a manager if unable to resolve decisions beyond standard scope.
• Restock products as required.
• Handle cash accurately; manage the bank at the bar.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary workstation and clean bar equipment.
• Assist with setup/breakdown of bar equipment and organizing the cooler.
