Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with food handling experience.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of set-up, break down, and lifting heavy trays.
• Experience with serving plated meals and buffet items.
• Familiarity with POS systems and concessions equipment.
• Ability to read, write and speak English clearly.
• Excellent teamwork and ability to work in fast-paced event settings.
• Valid food handling certificate if required by state or federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with table and banquet hall prep before events.
• Assist with food/buffet preparation before and during events.
• Demonstrate knowledge of menu and buffet items.
• Ensure safe food handling by self and team members.
• Arrange food on serving trays aesthetically.
• Deliver food from kitchen to banquet hall promptly.
• Serve appetizers and plated dinners to guests.
• Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Refill water glasses and respond to guest questions promptly.
• Keep work area clean and stocked; assist with post-event cleanup and tear down.
• Work as part of a team and communicate with staff for efficiency.
• Other duties as assigned.
