Job summary

Encore Global is hiring a Technical Lead to set up and operate AV systems in a hospitality setting. You’ll ensure customer satisfaction, lead technicians, and manage on-site client relationships.

The role requires 2-3+ years in customer service or hospitality and 2-3+ years in AV; a valid driver’s license is required. Expect on-site work in hotels and event venues with physical requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; an Associate’s degree is preferred.
• 2-3+ years of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 2-3+ years of audio-visual experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members who may operate company vehicles.
• External applicants must meet training and certifications within 60 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and dismantle AV equipment for events with accuracy and timeliness.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems quickly.
• Maintain security and safety measures for equipment and staff; prevent theft or damage.
• Provide excellent customer service and lead/coach other technicians on service quality.
• Interact with clients on site to ensure setup works properly and to foster hotel/client relationships.
• Work with staff and vendors, perform system entry and paperwork accurately.
