Job summary

Pioneer Executive is seeking a motivated Event Assistant to help plan, coordinate, and execute live events. You will support attendees, vendors, staff, and leadership, ensuring seamless event operations from setup through breakdown.

This role offers hands-on experience in event management and production, with training provided. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, gain valuable customer service skills, and have opportunities for growth into leadership roles within the events team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with event setup, execution, and breakdown.
  • Provide friendly on-site support to guests.
  • Welcome attendees, direct them, and assist with registration.
  • Coordinate vendors, staff, equipment, supplies, and logistics.
  • Maintain organized materials, signage, and equipment.
  • Monitor attendee flow and enhance guest experience.
  • Ensure spaces are clean, safe, and guest-ready.
  • Communicate with managers, team, vendors, and supervisors.
  • Assist with troubleshooting during events and handle quick fixes.
  • Complete last-minute tasks to support event success.

Job description

We are looking for a motivated, energetic, and dependable Event Assistant to help plan, coordinate, and execute engaging live events. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to gain hands-on experience in event management, event coordination, hospitality, and live event production.

As an Event Assistant, you’ll help ensure events run smoothly from setup through breakdown while providing professional support to attendees, vendors, staff, and event leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with event setup, execution, and breakdown before, during, and after events
  • Provide friendly, professional on-site event support to guests and attendees
  • Welcome attendees, provide directions, and assist with registration and check-in
  • Help coordinate event vendors, staff, equipment, supplies, and logistics
  • Maintain organized event materials, supplies, signage, and equipment
  • Monitor attendee flow and help create a positive guest experience
  • Help ensure event spaces remain clean, safe, organized, and guest-ready
  • Communicate effectively with event managers, team members, vendors, and supervisors
  • Assist with event-day troubleshooting and resolve routine issues quickly and professionally
  • Complete last-minute event tasks and other duties as needed to support successful event execution
Qualifications & Skills

No prior event experience is required. Training is provided. Experience in event planning, event coordination, hospitality, customer service, retail, entertainment, or live event production is a plus.
