The Office of the Dean of the College and Graduate School of Arts & Sciences is seeking enthusiastic and dependable student workers to serve as Event Ambassadors during the 2026-2027 Academic Year. Event Ambassadors play a key public‑facing role by welcoming guests and providing on‑site support during events on Grounds, including hosting tours in Pavilion II. Ambassadors represent Arts & Sciences with professionalism and courtesy. This position is ideal for students who enjoy engaging with people, working in dynamic environments, and contributing to the success of institutional programs and experiences.
Hours vary based on the event schedule, typically ranging from 1-4 hours. The College typically hosts approximately 10 events per semester, each lasting about 3 hours. Shifts are assigned in advance with accommodations made with respect to class schedules.
Student Assistants $17.50 an hour. Student Managers $20.00 an hour.
Event Ambassadors will work on site at events on Grounds, primarily in Pavilion II. The role involves standing for extended periods and interacting directly with attendees, faculty, staff, and occasionally external guests.
