Job summary

iHeartMedia in Minneapolis is seeking an Events Support Specialist for local promotions and live broadcasts. You will help plan and execute events that align with station branding and client objectives, working with our Sales, Programming and Marketing teams.

You’ll lead on-site operations, coordinate logistics, engage listeners, and capture content across platforms, contributing to listener engagement and revenue goals. Flexible hours including evenings and weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Solid organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication with the public and clients.
• Willingness to work flexible evenings and weekends.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with social platforms is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of local events and promotions aligned with station branding and client objectives.
• Coordinate venues, staffing, signage, giveaways, and technical needs.
• Collaborate with Sales, Programming, and Marketing to develop integrated promotional campaigns that drive listener engagement and revenue.
• Serve as on-site lead ensuring smooth execution and professional representation of iHeartMedia.
• Engage with listeners and clients to create memorable brand interactions and gather feedback.
• Maintain promotional inventory and prep materials for events.
• Track event performance and client satisfaction.
