Job summary

Southern Home Services Corp. is seeking a Dispatcher to join our residential HVAC, plumbing and electrical services team. You will act as a liaison between customers, technicians, sales staff and management while scheduling service and routine maintenance.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of administrative or customer service experience, strong Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to build rapport with customers. Service Titan is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year administrative or customer service experience in an office setting.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office is required.
• Service Titan is a plus.
• Ability to cultivate strong rapport with customers and co-workers.
• Organize, prioritize and manage time effectively to see tasks through to completion.
• Work well independently with integrity in a structured yet relaxed environment.
• Enjoy patiently, empathetically helping others.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming customer requests and inquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
• Act as a liaison between customers, technicians, salespersons and management.
• Schedule service and routine maintenance appointments.
• Maintain and update customer records based on interactions.
• Process invoice payments.
• Provide information about products and services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues and concerns.
• Develop and maintain a knowledge base of evolving products and services.
• Participate in in-house training on products and services and office software.
• Additional duties as assigned.
