Job summary

BMCHS is seeking a Console Operator in Guest Support Services. Under supervision, you will operate the hospital's telephone paging, alert and contingency recall systems, and provide patient, staff and public information.

You will maintain on-call/rotation schedules for clinical staff, handle inquiries, greet visitors, and relay messages with courtesy and tact. The role is full-time evening shift, Mon-Fri 3-11:30 pm with holidays rotation.

Qualifications

• Six to twelve months of experience with telecommunications equipment, on-line databases and paging systems.
• High school education required.
• Ability to gather and interpret data and follow procedures.
• Ability to greet visitors and relay messages with courtesy and tact.
