BMCHS is seeking a Console Operator in Guest Support Services. Under supervision, you will operate the hospital's telephone paging, alert and contingency recall systems, and provide patient, staff and public information.
You will maintain on-call/rotation schedules for clinical staff, handle inquiries, greet visitors, and relay messages with courtesy and tact. The role is full-time evening shift, Mon-Fri 3-11:30 pm with holidays rotation.
Under direct supervision of the Telecommunications/Operator Services Manager, operates the hospital's telephone paging, alert and contingency recall systems. Provides patient, services and staff related information to the general public, patients, hospital staff and maintains on-call/rotation schedule for clinical staff.

Work requires a High School level of education
Six to twelve months of previous experience with telecommunications equipment, on-line databases and paging systems.
$17.93- $21.43 This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications.
