Job summary

YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles is seeking a part-time Instructor for Youth Programs at the Weingart YMCA Wellness and Aquatic Center in Los Angeles. This evening-shift role supports youth development, builds positive relationships with children and caregivers, and delivers curriculum focused on skill mastery and safe, inclusive programming.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 18 years or older.
• Experience with school-age children in groups preferred.
• Ability to lead age-appropriate activities and build positive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise youth activities.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized program spaces.
• Build constructive relationships with parents/caregivers and staff.
• Deliver curriculum focused on skill mastery and inclusivity.
• Attend trainings and staff meetings as needed.
