Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Welding training through education or willingness to learn required.
• Ability to pass a welding test during application or training period.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and flexibility for overtime and weekend work as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in welding metal components using MIG or TIG welding equipment.
• Prepare materials by cleaning, positioning, and securing workpieces.
• Set up and operate welding equipment, including adjusting amperage and voltage settings.
• Learn to strike arcs and guide welding tools to create proper welds.
• Inspect welds for quality, including bead size and depth of fusion.
• Repair cracks, holes, and damaged components as needed.
• Support assembly by positioning, clamping, and tacking parts together.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow safety procedures, work instructions, and welding standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
