Job summary

Air Distribution Limited is seeking a Welder Apprentice (1st Shift) to support production operations by learning MIG and TIG welding. You will assist with material preparation, set up and operation of welding equipment, and inspection of completed work while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining weld quality, repairing damaged components, and assisting with assembly tasks.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Welding training through education or willingness to learn required.
  • Ability to pass a welding test during application or training period; strong attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable attendance and flexibility for overtime and weekend work as needed.

Physical Requirements
  • Regular standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching
  • Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs; occasional lifting up to 150 lbs
  • Ability to use hands for handling tools and materials
  • Visual ability to inspect weld quality and details
  • Exposure to manufacturing equipment, welding fumes, and airborne particles
  • Frequent exposure to noise, vibration, and industrial conditions
  • Occasional exposure to electrical hazards and chemicals
  • PPE required in all production areas
