Job summary

The University of Georgia’s College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking a part-time Small Animal Emergency Front Desk professional to support the ECC team by handling appointments, greeting clients, and processing payments at the front desk.

Responsibilities include answering phones, scheduling after-hours appointments, assisting with patient intake, and maintaining accurate records in VetView while delivering compassionate customer service to pet owners.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of veterinary terminology is required.
• Experience using hospital software VetView is preferred.
• Knowledge of payment processing systems within a veterinary hospital is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for clients arriving for emergencies and appointments.
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and assist with intake and charting in the hospital database.
• Process payments and maintain accurate records while delivering courteous customer service.
