Job summary

Northpoint Recovery is seeking a part-time Weekend Swing Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Idaho inpatient program in Meridian. The role reports to the Director of Nursing and runs Saturdays and Sundays 4pm-11pm, with flexibility for evening hours.

Compensation ranges from $34–$42/hour plus shift differential, with benefits described in the listing. The RN will coordinate medical treatment plans, communicate with the multi-disciplinary team, and ensure timely documentation and adherence to care

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license in Idaho.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Current CPR/First Aid/AED certification.
• Knowledge of EMR systems (KIPU preferred).
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain professional boundaries.
• Must maintain applicable state licensure requirements.
• Ability to work with a diverse population.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and observe behaviors; report to the multidisciplinary team.
• Administer medications and provide patient education.
• Utilize de-escalation techniques to maintain safety.
• Provide admission, orientation, education and discharge plans.
• Collaborate with the treatment team on plans and discharge.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and report maintenance needs.
• Record vital signs and document in patient records.
• Ensure compliance with laws and licensure scope.
• Monitor patients and adjust medical interventions as needed.
• Document assessments, diagnoses, progress notes, and plans in a timely manner.
• Maintain professional boundaries with patients.
• Participate in QA and compliance activities.
