Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years experience with individuals with developmental disabilities or dual diagnosis; substitution allowed with education on a year-for-year basis.
• Valid driver’s license and insured to operate agency/own vehicle.
• Excellent interpersonal skills required.
• CPR, First Aid, PMT, and DDS State Medication Administration certifications required.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and physically assist individuals.

Responsibilities

• Monitor consumer behavior and implement behavior management programs.
• Document shift activities and incidents in Therap and forms.
• Provide programmatic and statistical reports as required.
• Maintain safety, appearance, and cleanliness of home; conduct sanitation inspections.
• Follow agency policies, procedures, and licensing regulations; protect consumers’ rights.
