Job summary

Ascension St. John Sportsplex seeks a Programs & Events Coordinator to plan and execute youth camps, Parents' Night Out, and community events. The role requires ownership of events from concept to execution and on-site leadership during programs.

You will collaborate with the Community & Marketing Director to develop schedules, coordinate staff, and ensure smooth operations, with a focus on staying on schedule and delivering high-quality experiences for families.

Qualifications

• Proven experience coordinating events and programs, with strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple moving parts, staff, and timelines under tight schedules.
• Excellent communication with parents, staff, vendors, and partners.
• Comfortable taking ownership and running events from planning to post-event debrief.

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead on-site coordinator for camps and youth programming.
• Plan run-of-show, staff schedules, and daily operations for events.
• Coordinate staffing, materials, rentals, and food needs.
• Lead check-in, supervision, and post-event feedback collection.
• Troubleshoot issues and make real-time decisions during events.
