Job summary

The St. James is seeking a Manager of Basketball Programs & Operations to lead daily basketball operations, leagues, tournaments, camps, and rentals.

You will manage scheduling, staffing, and on-site logistics to deliver a premier guest experience for athletes, families, and clubs. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, with experience in sports operations and event management, plus familiarity with LeagueApps, TripleSeat, Tourney Machine, Exposure Basketball, and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred in related field.
Experience in sports operations or event management.
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on events.
Experience with LeagueApps, TripleSeat, Tourney Machine, Exposure Basketball, Paycom preferred.
Strong organizational and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily basketball operations for leagues, tournaments, camps, clinics, club teams, practices, rentals, and events.
Coordinate scheduling, staffing, and event logistics for programming and tournaments.
Serve as on-site manager to ensure efficient operations and guest experience.
Recruit, train, and supervise part-time staff, interns, coaches, and event staff.
Communicate with coaches, parents, teams, officials, vendors about schedules and policies.
Assist with budgeting, invoicing, and operational reporting as needed.
Maintain records for programs, clubs, leagues, and events.
