Job summary

New Community Corporation is seeking an Evening Recreation Coordinator to manage all operations at the Recreation Center and oversee recreation programs and activities with a focus on after-school, evening, and summer activities. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years’ experience working with elementary and middle school students in a school or community-based setting.
• At least 1 year experience in a supervisory capacity.
• Must be available to work from 6pm to 8pm on weekdays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the day-to-day operations of the NCC Neighborhood Center; including booking events, ordering supplies and building maintenance.
• Assists with special events planning.
• Plans and coordinates after school, evening and summer recreation programs.
• Attends staff training and meetings as needed.
• Maintains a calendar for Director and the Neighborhood Center for Youth Services events.
• Light maintenance and janitorial of building.
