This is not a traditional set weekly schedule. Programs & Events Staff will be part of a rotating pool of team members who can be contacted as events and programs are scheduled. When staffing is needed, available shifts will be communicated with information such as:
You can indicate whether you are available for that particular opportunity.
Accepting one event does not mean you are required to work every future event. However, once you accept an assigned shift, we expect you to be dependable and honor that commitment.
You don't need to walk in knowing how to run the entire event—that's the Programs & Events Coordinator's responsibility.
We do expect you to show up ready to work, understand your assignment, stay engaged, interact well with participants, and help wherever you're needed. Our events can be busy, loud, active, and fast-moving. The best members of this team are people who enjoy that environment and don't need to be repeatedly reminded to stay involved.
If you see kids who need direction, equipment that needs to be moved, an activity that needs help, or an area that needs to be cleaned up, you're willing to jump in. We're looking to build a reliable group of people we can confidently call when it's time to make an event happen.
