Job summary

Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster is seeking a Patient Services Representative for the OAL Lebanon urgent care. This part-time role focuses on welcoming patients, check-in, insurance verification, and collecting balances during evening and weekend shifts.

You'll support scheduling, EMR data entry, and coordination with billing while maintaining a courteous, efficient reception area. Prior customer service experience and strong computer skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of customer service experience required.
• Medical background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and check-in with a courteous, efficient manner.
• Verify demographics, insurance, and scan ID and insurance cards into EMR.
• Collect copays and process payments as needed.
• Schedule follow-up visits and tests and coordinate referrals.
• Maintain waiting area and monitor patient wait times.
• Prepare and forward patient forms to appropriate departments.
