Job summary

Rady Children’s Physician Management Services (RCPMS) in Chula Vista, CA, is seeking a part-time Scheduling Representative (Call Center) to handle patient scheduling and phone inquiries. Hours are Mon–Thurs 5:00pm–8:30pm and Sundays 8:00am–12:00pm, supporting pediatric primary care offices.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 1 year of public-facing experience. Medical Administration Program may substitute for customer service experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience in customer service, preferably in a call-center setting.
• Medical Administration Program may substitute for customer service experience.
• Excellent customer service skills via telephone.
• Ability to operate office equipment including photocopiers, fax machines, and multi-line phones.

Responsibilities

• Answer routine patient phone calls and schedule appointments.
• Provide courteous and professional service as the primary phone contact for patients and families.
• Handle scheduling for all types of visits and manage phones for pediatric offices.
