Lifeline Vascular Care in San Diego, CA is seeking a Part-time Medical Scheduling Coordinator to join our outpatient Access Center. The ideal candidate has 1 year in healthcare and strong insurance experience.

The role schedules patient appointments, coordinates intake, and provides administrative support while maintaining a patient-friendly environment. Shifts are Monday–Friday, 7 am–4 pm with no nights or weekend work.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in healthcare or medical billing office
• Strong background in Insurance (required)
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)

Responsabilités

• Verifies insurance eligibility and authorizations for each appointment
• Enter patient demographics accurately in scheduling system
• Schedule appointments to maximize patient service and manage referrals
• Provide administrative support: answering calls, filing, mailing
• Monitor inventory of supplies and assist in patient transport within the center
• Communicate with physicians and dialysis facilities as needed
• Support community education activities
