The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking an in-house Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our care team in a facility serving residents in Florida. The role emphasizes high-quality, holistic nursing care in a long-term care/assisted living setting.

The LPN will lead licensed and non-professional staff, perform essential nursing duties, and collaborate with health care providers to ensure optimal resident outcomes. Nights and weekends may be required as part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Must meet all state and federal requirements for this position.
• Current, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in good standing.
• Prefer one year of nursing experience in home care, assisted living, or long-term care.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily nursing functions in accordance with rules and guidelines of the facility.
• Ensure nursing staff comply with policies, safety program, and care plans.
• Admit, transfer and discharge residents with proper documentation.
• Lead or direct licensed and non-professional staff in direct resident care.
• Perform nursing rounds with healthcare providers and hospice/home health staff.
• Complete assessments and update care plans with provider orders.
