Job summary

RISE Services LLC in Front Royal, VA seeks a dependable Job Coach / Employment Specialist for evenings and weekends to provide individualized employment support to people with disabilities. This part-time role offers about 20 hours per week, with 3:30 pm-10:30 pm shifts at community and employer worksites, including local travel.

No bachelor’s degree or prior coaching experience is required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Evening and weekend availability is required.
• Ability to maintain schedules and arrive on time.
• Travel locally and transport participants when required.
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Patience and ability to teach in clear steps.
• Work independently in community and workplace settings.
• Complete electronic documentation accurately and on time.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized job coaching at community employer worksites.
• Help participants learn and perform assigned job duties.
• Teach workplace routines, safety procedures and time management.
• Reinforce professional behavior and workplace communication.
• Assist with transportation and required documentation.
• Monitor progress and adjust support as participants gain independence.
• Communicate schedule changes and safety concerns to management.
