Job summary

RISE Services is seeking a dependable, compassionate Job Coach / Employment Specialist to provide one-on-one workplace support to an individual with a disability who is employed in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

This part-time evening/overnight position requires traveling between Dumfries and Fredericksburg, with shifts on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Training is provided and no bachelor’s degree is required. Mileage reimbursement is provided for approved travel.

Qualifications

• Evening and overnight availability on Tue, Thu, Fri, and Sat.
• Ability to travel between Dumfries and Fredericksburg.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and document progress accurately.
• Able to satisfy background screening and employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one workplace coaching during scheduled shifts.
• Help the participant learn and perform assigned job duties.
• Teach workplace routines, safety procedures, time management, and employer expectations.
• Reinforce professional communication and behavior at work.
• Assist with transportation according to the service plan and accrue progress notes.
• Communicate schedule changes and safety concerns to RI SE management.
