Job summary

WEST MORRIS AREA YMCA in Randolph, NJ is seeking an Evening/Weekend Supervisor to support safe, clean and welcoming operations. You will serve as Manager on Duty on assigned nights, coordinate with the Facilities team, and ensure proper function of Y systems while engaging members and guests.

The role emphasizes safety, maintenance reporting, and collaboration with Full-Time staff, with concise career responsibilities and a strong culture of service.

Qualifications

• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required.
• Understanding of cleaning compounds and safety procedures.
• Basic upkeep knowledge of YMCA equipment and facility systems.
• Maintains maintenance reports and records.
• Able to analyze safety and respond to emergencies.
• Positive interactions with members, guests and team.
• Background in facility management strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of large mechanical systems or trade work preferred.
• Experience with power tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures safety and cleanliness of the YMCA and acts as Manager on Duty on assigned nights.
• Maintains cleanliness and care of major systems and equipment; reports repairs.
• Escalates issues and performs tasks as assigned; supports facilities team.
