Family Relief Resources LLC is seeking an energetic DSP to support an 17-year-old client in West Linn and Tigard. The role involves in-home care, transportation is not required, and activities center on community involvement, independence, and career exploration.

The DSP will work flexible hours including evenings and Sundays, ensuring safety, confidentiality, and positive engagement in daily living tasks and community outings.

Qualificações

• 18 years or older.
• Pass a Criminal History Check.
• Work a minimum of 15 hours per month.
• CPR and First Aid Certificate (within 3 months of hire)
• State required online training courses (pre-hire and within 3 months of hire)
• Continuing Education (24 hours per year)
• Basic knowledge of technology including smartphone timekeeping and report submission.
• Experience with children and/or adults with varying support needs.

Responsabilidades

• Support the client in participating in community activities including skateboarding and visiting skate parks.
• Provide reminders and prompting for personal hygiene and self-care routines.
• Assist with cleaning, organizing and household chores.
• Assist client with exploring career interests and employment opportunities.
• Encourage independent decision-making and age-appropriate independence.
