Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities.
• Patient, positive and outgoing DSP.
• Ability to remain calm and supportive during challenging situations.
• Experience promoting independence while maintaining supervision and safety.
• Comfortable supporting hygiene and self-care routines.

Responsibilities

• Care for a client in their home and in the community.
• Teach independent living skills (self-care, budgeting, cooking, shopping).
• Document progress notes and quarterly reports.
• Maintain GPS timekeeping and shift reporting.
• Communicate effectively with family and agency.
