Family Relief Resources LLC is seeking Direct Support Professionals for in-home care in SE Portland. The role involves caring for a 6-year-old girl with limited verbal communication, facilitating activities at home and in the community, and supporting daily routines with patience and engagement.

Travel to client homes in SE Portland is required; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Shifts include mornings, evenings, and weekends, with part- or full-time opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• Candidate must be at least 18 years old.
• Criminal History Check clearance required.
• Min 15 hours per month commitment.
• CPR and First Aid within 3 months of hire.
• Complete state online training within 3 months; ongoing CEU 24 hours/year.
• Basic tech skills; smartphone for timekeeping and reporting.
• Experience with children and/or adults with disabilities preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and communicate effectively with families.

Responsabilidades

• Care for the client in her home and when out in the community.
• Teach independent living skills such as self-care and budgeting.
• Assist with daily routines, transitions, and community preparation.
• Maintain schedules; track visits with GPS/timekeeping.
• Communicate with family and the agency; document progress.
