Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a Caregiver to provide routine daily care with a compassionate, respectful approach in alignment with individual assessment and service plans. This role emphasizes upholding resident dignity while supporting daily activities and safety in a community setting.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, safe transfers, encouraging participation in activities, and promptly communicating changes to supervising staff.

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements.
• Prefer 6 months or more of experience in home care, assisted living, or long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and mobility.
• Assist with moving and transferring residents using proper techniques and safety.
• Communicate any observed or suspected changes to a supervisor promptly.
• Encourage socialization and participation in activities and outings.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and requests for care.
• Observe residents' emotional state and report changes to the nurse.
• Follow infection control practices and safety procedures.
• Ensure resident safety and compliance with service schedules.
• Participate in fire safety drills and other safety measures.
• Perform other essential duties as assigned.
