Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to provide routine daily care and support to residents in a compassionate, respectful manner. You will follow the assessment and service plan and work to maintain resident dignity while assisting with ADLs, transfers, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities include promoting social engagement, responding to resident needs, and reporting any changes to the supervising nurse. A focus on infection control and safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Prefer 6 months or more of experience in a home care, assisted living, or long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and mobility.
• Move and transfer residents using safe techniques and equipment as needed.
• Communicate information and changes in residents to a supervisor promptly.
• Encourage socialization and assist with activities and outings.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and requests for care.
• Observe resident condition and report changes to the nurse.
• Follow infection control practices and safety guidelines at all times.
• Check residents to ensure their personal care needs are met per their wishes.
