Job summary

Foundations Behavioral Health in Doylestown, PA is seeking a full-time Admissions Coordinator to join our Intake team, with Monday–Friday schedules 8:00a–4:30p or 8:30a–5:00p.

The Admissions Coordinator conducts telephonic and in-person risk assessments and crisis interventions, coordinates referrals and intake, and determines the appropriate level of care while partnering with families, insurers, and outpatient providers.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology required.
• Prior intake, assessment, admission, and crisis intervention experience with a mental health population preferred.
• Two years’ experience with child/adolescent mental health clients and families preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephonic and in-person risk assessments and crisis intervention.
• Serve as initial contact with referral sources and potential patients; coordinate referral and intake.
• Determine appropriate level of care and work with community resources, insurance companies, and outpatient providers.
