Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Warehouse Order Picker to select cases and containers from multi-level warehouse storage to fulfill customer orders. You will move pallets to the loading dock using electric pallet jack/forklift, wrap and label orders, and ensure quality and safety standards throughout the process.

The role requires standing, walking, lifting up to 80 pounds, and working in multi-temperature environments.

Qualifications

• Ability to work scheduled/assigned shifts, including required overtime.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly during shift.
• Able to lift and stack 10-80 pounds occasionally.
• Work in cooler, freezer and dry environments.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Complete required training independently.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and maintain a safe work area.
• Review schedule, gather supplies and prep for operations.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per guidelines.
• Place pallets on jack and locate products by order sheets.
• Move completed orders to shipping dock and shrink-wrap if needed.
• Power equipment checks and end-of-shift equipment securement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
