Job summary

Performance Foodservice, PFG's broadline distributor, is seeking a full-time Warehouse Order Picker in New Jersey. You will select cases and other items from multi-level racks, place pallets, and move orders to the loading dock using an electric pallet jack, while following safety rules and quality standards.

Shifts are Sunday–Friday, evenings from 6 PM till finish. Compensation is $24.20 per hour plus incentives, with benefits starting Day 1, plus opportunities for growth and a supportive,

Qualifications

• Ability to work scheduled/assigned shifts, including required overtime.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, stack, and/or pull product weighing 10-35 lbs regularly and up to 60-100 lbs (location dependent).
• Ability to work in multi-temperature environments (dry, cooler, freezer).
• Ability to pass a post-offer drug test.
• Ability to become Electric Pallet Jack certified within the new-hire training period.
• Ability to complete required training independently.

Responsibilities

• Follow all preferred work methods, safety policies and procedures per company guidelines.
• Review work schedule, obtain supplies required to perform the work and prepare for operations.
• Meet required productivity and accuracy standards per location and company guidelines.
• Place pallets on pallet jack and operate along assigned multi-level racks and locate products according to order sheets.
• Manually place the appropriate stock items on pallet from pick slots and racks as required.
• Transport completed palletized customer order to shipping dock staging area.
• Remove batteries requiring recharging, replace with charged batteries, or attach re-charger and complete vehicle inspection checklist.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
