Job summary

Kenco Group is a leading 3PL provider in the U.S. located in Illinois. The Operations Supervisor directs warehouse associates, ensuring safety and quality while meeting cost and scheduling targets.

Responsibility includes staffing, inventory, training, and adherence to SOPs, with travel up to 25% and a strong emphasis on teamwork. The role requires a 4-year degree-equivalent background, 3+ years in warehousing or distribution, and supervisory experience, plus proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience and/or training.
• Minimum of three years of experience in warehousing, distribution, or related.
• Minimum of six months supervisory experience.
• PC and computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Determine work volume, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow to maximize cost effectiveness.
• Assign duties and inspect work for quality, neatness, and policy conformance.
• Schedule job assignments for inventories and counts.
• Monitor, direct, and perform accurate shipping of outbound orders when needed.
• Issue instructions to associates and ensure accountability per SOPs.
• Maintain harmony among associates and resolve grievances.
• Manage employee time and edits/corrections.
• Mentor and coach associates, including performance evaluations.
• Assist in monitoring zoning and product database during receiving.
• Train staff on policies, procedures, and standard works.
