Job summary

Cardinal Health in Champlin, MN is hiring for an Assoc II, Warehouse Ops to support inbound/outbound activities. The role works Wednesday–Saturday from 3:00pm to 1:30am or until completion, and involves picking, packing, loading, and operating warehouse equipment.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma (or equivalent), the ability to lift 50 pounds, good communication, and willingness to learn new material-handling tasks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 feet regularly.
• Previous material handling equipment experience (PIT) preferred.
• RF scanner and/or voice to pick experience highly preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime with little to no advance notice.
• Willingness to learn to operate material handling equipment and rotate into various areas of the warehouse.
• Basic proficiency in English, including reading/writing.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to process orders including picking, quality control, sorting, packing, loading, and preparing shipments.
• Follow directions and adapt priorities as needed.
• Pick large items with equipment or small items onto designated carts.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects.
• Use WMS to check in/out products.
• Operate equipment such as cherry picker, forklift, reach truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and perform inventory tasks.
• Handle routine tasks with some problem resolution.
• Attend associate meetings and relay concerns to management.
• Adhere to site safety rules and wear PPE as required.
