Job summary

Cardinal Health is hiring for a Warehouse Associate II to support outbound/inbound activities in a distribution setting. You will assist the Warehouse Supervisor to meet quality, safety, and productivity standards, handling incoming product and outbound shipments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 feet regularly.
• Previous material handling equipment experience (PIT) preferred.
• RF scanner and/or voice-pick experience highly preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime with little to no advance notice.
• Willingness to learn to operate material handling equipment and rotate into various areas of the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to process orders: pick, QC, sort, consolidate freight, build pallets, wrap, pack, and prepare for shipment.
• Follow directions and change priorities while working alone or in a team.
• Pick large items with equipment or small items onto designated carts.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as needed.
• Utilize WMS to check in/out products.
• Drive material handling equipment as required (e.g., forklift, order picker, reach truck).
• Complete housekeeping and inventory control tasks for a clean, safe work area.
• Participate in associate meetings and communicate concerns to management.
• Adhere to site safety regs and wear PPE as required.
