Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is hiring for a Warehouse Associate II to support outbound and inbound activities in our distribution environment. You will assist with receiving, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and experience with material handling equipment (RF scanners preferred). OT may be required and training provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, preferred.
• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 feet regularly.
• Previous material handling equipment experience (PIT) preferred.
• RF scanner and/or voice to pick experience highly preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime with little to no advance notice.
• Willingness to learn to operate material handling equipment and rotate into various areas of the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to process orders: pick, QC checks, sort, palletize, pack, load and prepare shipments.
• Follow directions and adapt priorities as needed.
• Pick large items with equipment or small items onto designated carts.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas.
• Use WMS to check in/out products.
• Operate material handling equipment as required.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and inventory control.
• Assist in routine tasks and problem resolution.
• Participate in associate meetings and relay concerns to management.
