Job summary

KeHE Distributors, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Operations Associate to lead in a full-time role with a late-afternoon to late-evening shift. You will support supervisors and managers on the production floor, train new staff, ensure safety and inventory accuracy, and cover multiple areas as needed to keep the operation running smoothly.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and hands-on experience with powered industrial equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience operating powered industrial equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, stock pickers, etc., required.
• Ability to communicate well both verbally with internal customers and management.
• Ability to efficiently work independently of direct supervision.
• Ability to follow guidelines, work in a team environment, and adapt to changing priorities and goals.

Responsibilities

• Completes work based on department/area of production floor they are responsible for such as but not limited to selecting, loading, inventory, loading and unloading product, inspection, pallets, etc.
• Performs quality checks on products, cases, and pallets to ensure warehouse associates are completing tasks and following proper procedures.
• Verifies accuracy of orders, inventory, and cases.
• Monitors products and orders to check for any damage.
• Trains new hires in the areas of production they are assigned to.
• Supports additional training for associates as required.
• Prepares and submits documentation.
• Communicates with supervisors/managers within the warehouse and other departments as needed to assist with answering any questions on orders, inventory, etc.
• Steps in and assists with any job at the warehouse or where coverage is needed.
• Addresses any issues, changes, and communicates them to their supervisor/manager.
• Maintains safe work practices.
• Maintains safeguards of confidential company information.
• Must maintain good attendance.
• Other duties and projects assigned.
