Job summary

KeHE Distributors in Ellettsville, IN, is seeking an Associate, Warehouse Operations to support supervisors and managers on the production floor. You will train new hires, assist with safety, quality, and inventory, and step in wherever coverage is needed to keep the department running smoothly.

Responsibilities span loading, unloading, quality checks, order verification, and documentation, with a focus on safety and teamwork in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience operating powered industrial equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, stock pickers).
• Ability to communicate well with internal customers and management.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Ability to follow guidelines, work in a team, and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Completes tasks on the production floor such as loading/unloading, inventory, and inspection.
• Performs quality checks on products, cases, and pallets.
• Verifies accuracy of orders and inventory.
• Trains new hires in assigned production areas.
• Supports additional training for associates as required.
• Prepares and submits documentation.
• Communicates with supervisors and other departments about orders and inventory.
• Steps in to cover other jobs as needed.
• Maintains safe work practices and confidentiality.
