Job summary

Staples is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support inventory control and warehouse clerk duties in a fast-paced distribution setting. The role involves operating material handling equipment and maintaining accurate inventory records to minimize discrepancies, while adhering to safety procedures.

You may be assigned to Warehouse Inventory Control or Warehouse Clerk roles, with potential movement between SC1/SC2/SC3 as needed. A strong focus on safety, teamwork, and customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform and understand warehouse operations.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems; mathematical skills included.
• Proficient with Windows, Word, Outlook, Excel and learning WMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Review inventory and reconcile discrepancies; operate MHE like forklifts and pallet jacks following safety procedures.
• Confirm product accuracy and address discrepancies or damages; communicate with internal/external contacts to resolve issues.
• Work in Warehouse Inventory Control or Warehouse Clerk roles; may be moved between roles as needed.
