Cardinal Health is seeking a Warehouse Operations Associate II to support inbound or outbound activities, meeting quality, safety, and productivity standards. This role processes orders, receives and ships products, and operates standard material handling equipment.

The position requires a HS diploma or equivalent, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and comfort with heights. Overtime may be required, and candidates should be willing to rotate through warehouse areas and learn new equipment.

Formación

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 feet regularly.
• Previous material handling equipment experience (PIT) preferred.
• RF scanner and/or voice to pick experience highly preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime with little to no advance notice.
• Willingness to learn to operate material handling equipment and rotate into various areas of the warehouse.

Responsabilidades

• Follow SOPs to process orders including picking, quality checks, sorting, consolidating freight, building and wrapping pallets, packing, loading, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Follow directions and adapt to changing priorities while working independently or in a team.
• Pick large case items with equipment or small items onto designated carts.
• Crosstrain in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as needed.
• Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS) to check in/out products.
• Operate material handling equipment as required (e.g., cherry picker, forklift, reach truck).
• Complete housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a safe work environment.
• Handle routine assignments and resolve basic problems; escalate complex issues.
