Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking an Assoc II, Warehouse Ops to support outbound and inbound tasks in a distribution warehouse. You will help meet quality, safety, productivity and operational standards, handling shipments from inbound to outbound.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, readiness to work overtime, and familiarity with WMS and RF scanning. A strong team ethic and basic English literacy are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 feet regularly.
• RF scanner and/or voice to pick experience highly preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime with little to no advance notice.
• Willingness to learn to operate material handling equipment and rotate into various areas of the warehouse.
• Basic proficiency in English, including reading and writing.

Responsabilités

• Follow established SOPs to process orders including picking, quality checks, sorting, consolidating freight, building, and wrapping pallets, packing, loading, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Follow direction and change priorities while working independently or as part of a team.
• Pick large case items with equipment or small item quantities and place on cart.
• Cross-train in multiple areas and participate in projects as needed.
• Utilize WMS to check in and/or send out products.
• Drive material handling equipment as required by job duty (e.g., forklift, cherry picker, pallet jack).
• Complete housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Work on routine assignments that require problem resolution.
• Participate in associate meetings and communicate any concerns to management.
• Adhere to site safety regulations including PPE such as steel-toed shoes and safety harness.
