Job summary

Cardinal Health is hiring for a Warehouse Associate II. The role supports outbound and inbound activities in a distribution environment, with emphasis on accuracy, safety and productivity.

Expect routine picking, packing, palletizing and shipping tasks using RF scanners, WMS, and various powered equipment. The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and comfort with heights.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 feet regularly.
• RF scanner and/or voice-pick experience preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime with little to no advance notice.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to process orders: pick, quality checks, sort, palletize, pack, and ship.
• Follow direction and adapt to priority changes.
• Pick large items with material handling equipment or small items on designated carts.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects.
• Use Warehouse Management System to check in/out products.
• Operate material handling equipment as required by duty.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and assist with inventory control.
