Job summary

Viking Electric in Minneapolis, MN (part of the Sonepar group) is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler for a full-time evening shift (1pm to 9pm). The role offers hourly pay from $22.50 to $26.00 plus a full benefits package and a short-term incentive bonus.

You will move, count, and package inventory, operate forklifts and scanners, and help ensure on-time delivery to customers. The company emphasizes safety, development opportunities, and a supportive team in a fast-paced warehouse.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, or up to 75 lbs with assistance.
• Ability to stand and walk for much of your shift.
• Authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and move boxes/material in a safe manner using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other devices.
• Count, check and record items coming into or being shipped out of the warehouse.
• Use a handheld device to scan barcodes and labels to track inventory levels.
• Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize and route material for delivery or storage.
• Help keep products free from damage and organized.
• Follow procedures that maintain warehouse safety and security.
