Animal Emergency Center of Yorktown is seeking a friendly receptionist to support veterinarians and clients in a fast-paced emergency/urgent care setting in Yorktown, VA.

The role focuses on greeting clients, triaging concerns, handling calls and scheduling, while maintaining a calm, compassionate presence during difficult moments. Shift times include Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.

Qualifications

• Experience as a receptionist in a veterinary setting preferred.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Strong communication and compassion.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients, triage concerns, and direct inquiries to the appropriate party.
• Answer calls and emails, schedule appointments to optimize daily flow.
• Check in/out clients and process payments with accuracy.
