Job summary

Mass General Brigham in Boston seeks a Unit Coordinator for White 10 on evenings to support clinicians and staff in an inpatient unit. You will help coordinate patient flow, liaise with the nursing team, and protect patient information.

This full‑time role requires strong organizational and communication skills, familiarity with medical terminology, and the ability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate's degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of administrative support experience required.
• Proficiency in MS Office and general office equipment.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Performs clerical duties to assist in floor or unit administration.
• Greets patients, families, visitors and coworkers professionally.
• Manages information at the central nursing station and throughout the unit.
• Schedules consultations, tests, procedures, and patient transport.
• Enters admissions, discharges and transfers into the EMR to facilitate throughput.
• Coordinates with ancillary service departments for equipment, services and supplies.
