Job summary

VOA Northern California & Northern Nevada is hiring for a full-time Swing Shift Support Staff member at the Meadowview Navigation Center in Sacramento. You will support residents, maintain safety, and deliver trauma-informed service from 2:00pm to 10:30pm, Wednesday through Sunday.

Responsibilities include guest check-ins, room assignments, meal coordination, and emergency response while upholding program standards and compassionate care for up to 100 women facing homelessness.

Qualifications

• Experience serving vulnerable populations, including homelessness.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests and staff.
• Capacity to work in a trauma-informed, professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality service to program guests with compassion and professionalism.
• Assist with daily routines, meals, room assignments, and safety.
• Use de-escalation techniques and refer issues to Case Management when needed.
• Perform housekeeping, safety checks, and incident documentation.
• Monitor security, check IDs, and respond to emergencies as required.
