The Lake Superior YMCA in Grand Marais, MN is seeking a Part-time Swim Team Coach to lead evening practices, mentor youth swimmers, and ensure safe, high-quality program experiences. This role requires commitment to YMCA values and safety policies.

Responsibilities include coaching, data tracking, meeting participation, and supporting volunteers and fundraising events. Travel within Minnesota may be required, and a background check will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Certified in CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, Basic First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Conduct practices and guide skill mastery, program planning and communication with swimmers.
• Conduct energizing, safe, educational practices; ensure fair experiences.
• Stay up to date on competitive swimming best practices and trends.
• Assist with collection and organization of performance data.
• Build relationships with members and connect them with the YMCA.
